Very good day today. Took the advice of the locals and took a different route than planned. Much easier, safer, and shorter they said. Had a good 80 mile day. Am now in Velva, ND. Super nice town and I continue to be amazed by the hospitality and kindness of the people. Staying for free in City park beside a nice pool, can swim and shower for free and they leave the bathrooms and showers open all night for campers. Realy clean too! The pics of the yellow fields are of ganola. The roads on each side are surrounded by these beautiful golden fields often as far as you can see. The farmers grow this now because they say there is no money in corn. The other pics are of the park and my nice campsite. I am in flatter terrain now so the milage and ease of travel should make things easier. If I make it to Minnesota in 3 more days like I should, I will knock another 2 days off my schedule. Still got a long way to go, but things are going well. Miss you all!
