Ok, here I sit in Arthur, ND and nothing in town is open. Another nice park to camp in though. Sure glad I picked up some junk food this morning or I would starve here. Tomorrow I will be out of ND and they tell me Minnesota actually has trees. I have talked to 2 people in ND who love the state because it doesn't have trees. They say they can see fires coming. Hey, I was wondering what the heck is gonna burn, the grass. There aren't houses, trees, or many people, Just big grain hoppers and railroad tracks. The pics are: One of the road I came in on. I called the ND road for the blind. It has deep rumble strips on each side and one in the middle. If you look off the road there are just flat fields, so what the heck are ya gonna hit if you run off the road, grass? The other is where I ate lunch in this little town of 100 people but the cafe was new and very nice. We all gotta eat! I have been told that Minnesota is beautiful with all the lakes and such. Maybe the pics will get more interesting. I am looking forward to fighting the millions of mosquitos that I hear are lurking around all those beautiful lakes. Miss you all! Kaci, I hope you are there when I get home. Bill I got nothing to do all day but ride and eat. Marsha I call my tent the Park Hotel. Take care and keep in touch!

    Randy,

I heard that Bret Favre country is very nice. Maybe you will see a Viking or two. They claim Minnesota is the land of a thousand lakes. Perhaps you can order a nutritious fish dinner, or better yet, catch a fish at your next campsite and have a fish fry.
Just remember, that every mile you pedal you get closer to Wild and Wonderful West Virginia, a day closer to greet your new class of students, and a haircut from Charlotte.
Everyone at Mineral Wells School is tremendously proud of your accomplishments,
amazed at your physical stamina, and astounded at your mental endurance.
On your journey, do you go by the Mall of America in Minneapolis? I bet they have some great ethnic food there! A lot of Germans and Scandanavians live in Minnesota.
Have a GREAT day and enjoy the JUNK food! My favorite too.

    Randy,

I thought you would like to know that Nick Swisher is in the All-Star Home Run Derby. It airs tonight at 800 P.M., Eastern Standard Time.I know he will smash a home run or two. By the way, you are smashing the ball out of the park, too. Keep on Hammering!
