Had my phone stolen yesterday so I have no phone numbers or e-mail addresses. Please text or e-mail me and identify who you are so I can keep in touch. What happened is a long story. The fella who runs the hostel where I stayed last night in Dalbo, MN drove me 45 miles each way so I could get a new phone. I am now in Prescot, Wisconsin after a 94 mile day. The two campsites I planned to stop at were full, so I had to keep riding. got here about 5:30. I feel fine, but tired! I only have one pic today because I just learned how to use the camera on my phone. I have ridden 2021 miles so far and am more than 2/3 of the way home. Many more days like today and I'll be home next week. Bike is doing great! Still no flat tires and I had the tires sqitched in Alexandria,MN two days ago. Will be home before you know it! Miss you all!

ReplyDeleteRandy,
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe you have completed 67% of your trip. Just think, you only have to travel through Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio before you reach Home-Sweet-Home. West Virginia will seem like
" Almost Heaven."
As of now, when is your projected day of arrival in Parkersburg?
Keep those legs moving and keep one eye on your cell phone and the other on the Steeple!

Randy,
ReplyDeleteI was in Braxton County this week and was so anxious to get back to get on line and check your progress. This summer is flying by, would you agree? I am so glad to know you will be back in time to rest some before the 18th.
Hi Randy! This is Andrea from the Lewis and Clark trail. It looks like you have been having some fun adventures. We are too! Alex and I are now in Yankton, SD, just a few days from Iowa! We met another tourist a few days ago who is letting us stay at his place in Yankton, and we are enjoying all the luxeries of life, such as computers! and internet! We are taking our first rest day tomorrow and going kayaking with him. It's been just over a week since my dad left the ride and he was verrrrry sad to leave. Sorry to hear about your phone. still have your number, but it sounds like you lost mine: 319-331-5595. Continue to ride safe!
